WASHINGTON, D.C. – Officials estimate about a quarter of a million people are expected to make their way to our nation’s capital to watch the presidential inauguration. Law enforcement officials rolled out their security plans for the big event.  

Starting Tuesday, nominees will be questioned by the respective Senate committees that have oversight over their departments. Republicans are rushing to have their ducks in a row by the time Trump is sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.
