WASHINGTON, D.C . – Law enforcement officials pulled out all the stops with security measures in Washington for the Inauguration, President Jimmy Carter lying in state and the January 6th election certification. They brought in thousands of law enforcement officers and put up miles and miles of fencing. Now that the events are over, most of the barriers and fencing is starting to be removed.
This afternoon, Majority Leader Thune and Speaker Johnson met with President Trump at the White House to determine their best path for legislative victories.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President. In his inaugural address, he said America’s “decline is over.” His speech laid out his plans for what he calls putting “America first”. His address resembles his first inaugural speech eight years ago, which was dubbed “American Carnage”.
The cold temperatures did not deter supporters of the 47th President of the United States from getting a chance to witness history. Thousands lined up at Capital One Arena, as early as midnight Monday morning to have front row seats to today’s events.
