WASHINGTON, D.C. – For weeks, the Speaker of the House has canceled votes in the House as a way to pressure Senate Democrats to pass their continuing resolution. It has essentially kept the House out of legislative session. There’s been some outspoken Republican voices criticizing this move, but do our local congressional members agree? We asked them.  

Supreme Court Hears Trump’s Tariffs Case

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Supreme Court heard arguments on President Trump’s tariffs. The Justices will have to decide if the President can use a 1970’s emergency law to impose sweeping tariffs. It’s the biggest legal test yet for the President’s economic agenda. What’s at stake here is the President’s authority on tariffs without the explicit approval of Congress.
