It’s been nearly two weeks since the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. Lawmakers in Washington continue to press for answers and accountability over the tragic events that unfolded in Butler, PA on July 13. 

WASHINGTON, D.C. – A large pro- Palestine protest rallied nearby the US Capitol on Wednesday. Protesters there were angry the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was in town, addressing congress. US Capitol Police said some of the crowds started to become violent and disobey their orders. 

On Wednesday, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu delivered a joint address to Congress as Israel continues its war with Hamas. The address comes as the contentious conflict continues to spark division across the globe, and even within Congress.
