WASHINGTON, D.C. – President Donald Trump has been sworn in as the 47th President. In his inaugural address, he said America’s “decline is over.” His speech laid out his plans for what he calls putting “America first”. His address resembles his first inaugural speech eight years ago, which was dubbed “American Carnage”. 

The cold temperatures did not deter supporters of the 47th President of the United States from getting a chance to witness history. Thousands lined up at Capital One Arena, as early as midnight Monday morning to have front row seats to today’s events.  

A recently installed exhibit at the national cathedral in Washington, D.C. is literally shedding light on the history of the civil rights movement and the fight for racial justice.

The women’s and civil rights march comes less than 48 hours before Donald Trump is sworn into office as the 47th President. Organizers say they’re mobilizing their collective power to stand against efforts to roll back their rights and freedoms.
