House Republicans in Washington are moving forward with two articles of impeachment against DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas. If their effort is successful, Mayorkas would be the second cabinet official in US history to be impeached

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Nearly one year after the catastrophic East Palestine train derailment, Norfolk Southern announced they’re joining a federal pilot program that allows workers to report close calls confidentially. Pennsylvania Senators John Fetterman (D- PA) and Bob Casey (D- PA) said this is a good first step but it’s not enough.  

Three US servicemembers were killed by a drone strike in Jordan on Sunday. The strike at Tower 22, a small US outpost in northeast Jordan, marks the first time US troops have been killed by enemy fire in the mideast since the beginning of the war in Gaza.
