U.S. Virgin Islands Could Play Key Role in Trans-Atlantic Fiber Optic Cable Project, DiasporaLink

The U.S. Virgin Islands could soon become a cornerstone to a massive trans-Atlantic submarine fiber optic cable project. Last week, Congress passed the DiasporaLink Act. Passage of the bill is the first step in developing a a more than 3,000-mile-long fiber optic cable connecting the United States, and the Virgin Islands to Africa.

International Organization Works to Reunite Ukrainian Kids Separated by Russia

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Ukrainian officials estimate 19-thousand Ukrainian kids have been forcibly separated from their families by Russia. In total, more than 300 have been reunited according to the Ukrainian government. We spoke with SOS Children’s Village on this issue and how they’re helping reunite kids.
