Early this morning a 984-feet Singaporean-flagged container vessel crashed into Baltimore’s Francis Scott Key Bridge. The ship was departing Baltimore Harbor when it reportedly lost power, crashed, and brought down a significant portion of the bridge.

On Friday, a bipartisan vote in the U.S. House, led by Speaker Johnson, put concerns of a government shutdown to rest. Passing the $1.2 trillion spending plan, which needed Democratic support to succeed, really angered some hardline conservatives.
